*A couple of weekends ago Nick and I headed north for his step sister, Alyssa’s, wedding. Of course things never go as planned but it most certainly a day to remember, and in the end a great trip and a beautiful wedding.

I always love finding those fake tree cell phone towers, they really crack me up… a nice effort but really, who do they think they’re fooling?

I took this picture in the carriage house while Alyssa and her bridesmaids ran around getting ready. Nick and I decided that this will be his album cover one day ^_^.

…did Nick grow or the chair shrink?

I love finding these little tree frogs. I used to spend hours searching for them in my aunts yard up in Maine. So cute.

Just as the wedding was about to get underway we watched and documented as a crazy storm rolled in and forced the wedding inside.

This sequins of pictures cracks me up. Of course we all got soaking wet, and my curly hair was ruined. But all that really matters is the bride and groom stayed dry and we all laughed it off and had a great time.

*As many of you might know, I was in California a couple of weeks ago helping out with a sales trip for work, and I’ve been promising these pictures for far too long.

The Pink Taco, pretty gross name for a restaurant but pretty great restaurant to eat at. Yum ^_^.

I fell in love with Venice and its adorable little beach bungalows.

I also fell in love with California’s plant life. This giant weird tree was covered in intimidating thorns and spikes, like a massive rose steam.

We got to eat at some amazing restaurants while we were there. I even got to try my very first oyster! You’d think, living with a fish monger, I would have already done that…

Doesn’t it look like coral!

We got a chance to check out Gallery 1988’s new Venice location, and I picked up a copy of the Cult Movie Art book for my parents!

We bought these amazing Harry and the Hendersons trading cards, out of a weird vending machine, at a bar, in Silver Lake called, Cha Cha. They even came with a complimentary stick of gum circa 1987, hard as a rock!

Andy, I’m sorry, I didn’t cheat…but I may have cuddled with this adorable mass of love, Rambo!
*A special thanks to Laura, for taking these pictures for me with her fancy Iphone. (Don’t worry I will be stepping into the 21st century come May)
And to Mandy, Pat, Rambo and my Kristin for showing us a great time!
…I miss you already California…

Last weekend Nick and I took a four day trip up to my parents cabin in the Adirondacks, where we built fires, chopped wood, went to the Adirondack museum, went mushroom hunting and had a great time even thought it did manage to rain every single day we were there.
Please enjoy some images of our relaxing vacation… while we wish we were still there.

*Nick chops fire wood.

*Leanne chops too ^_^

*And Andy had a great time too! running around in the yard and eating leaves.

*The Adirondack Museum had some awesome wildlife art that we were both excited to get to see up close.

*mushroom mushroom…

*In case you cant tell we all had a really great time (especially Andy), can’t wait to go back and smell that fresh air again ^_^.
